This is a good news for Indonesian football fans because Indonesian football fans can watch English Premier League matches on free-to-air television, TV One this season 2009/2010.
The private station said it would broadcast 53 EPL matches live and 10 delayed. TvOne will broadcast two games every Saturday, one live and the other one delayed.
The TVOne management said the package would include several big matches - featuring defending champion Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal - including an Arsenal vs. United game on Aug. 29 at 23:10 WIB told The Jakarta Post.
The matches between Aston Villa and Wigan Athletic, and between Arsenal and Everton will be TVOne's first EPL offerings to be relayed live on Aug. 15. The following weekend's matches will be Arsenal vs. Portsmouth live at 20:55 WIB. and Wigan vs. Manchester United live at 23:00 WIB, on Saturday, Aug. 22.
In 2007-2008, the English Premier League sold its Indonesia rights exclusively to the pay-TV broadcaster but now Indonesian can wacth some EPL for Free. You can also watch streaming tv one via www.tvone.co.id (Note:I dont know if tvone.co.id also broadcast epl for free).
