Live Champions League: Liverpool vs Lyon on RCTI

Liverpool will play against Lyon in Champions League Group E. Liverpool have had injury problems. Fernando Torres misses out because he is still recovering from an abdominal problem. Steven Gerrard however is fit to play after recovering from a groin injury. He has trained normally and will play against Lyon. After the surprising loss to Fiorentina Liverpool are suddenly outside the top two positions after Lyon and Fiorentina. After three consecutive defeats without scoring Rafa Benitez will not only be looking for a win against Lyon, but also a convincing performance from his team.

Lyon on the other hand are joint top in France's first division, are unbeaten in the Champions League so far this season and visit a Liverpool side reeling after losing three consecutive matches for the first time in over two seasons. Lyon have defensive problems with Jean-Alain Boumsong, Mathieu Bodmer and Clebe Anderson all set to miss out through injury leaving midfielder Jeremey Toulalan to fill the void in the centre of defence. But he has Argentina striker Lopez Lisandro, four goals already in the competition this season, and Bosnia teenager Miralem Pjanic - three goals in five European matches - to give Liverpool plenty to worry about.
